We spend some time in the Scilly Isles having a real great time. Celebrate a birthday with wine tasting, they actually grow vines and make wines on the island, but have problem with migrating birds.

Scilly Wine Tasting Ep 71

Once again we cross the English Cannel at night and this time we are on our way to the Scilly Islands.
We have heard a lot about this islands located just outside Cornwall, but never had the chance to visit them before.They are supposed to be beautiful and are best to visit in calm weather. Then we meet up with some friends.

Sailing Down Wind In The English Channel Ep 70

Why is it called New Jersey Ep 69

We sail to Saint-Malo and learned a lot of new things. It is difficult to believe the town was bombed flatt during WW II. After the war it was rebuilt to replicate the old city, very beautiful. Saint-Malo got it's name after a Welsh monk who fled to Brittany in the 6th century. Then we also got to know why it's called bollard... all in one film!

Why it is Bollard Ep 68

We are warming up with sailing around Brittany in France and going around the tip we have a strange current. After that, just by chance, we meet Sam Holms in the fog, last time we saw him was in Longyearbyen in Svalbard, small world! Next day we are sending the IMOCAS off on the Guyander Bermudes 1000 race, Brest-Finistère-Fastnet-Brest.

New Sail New Season Ep 66

Crossing the English Channel again on our way back to France finishing the season 2022 and ending our Svalbard Adventure.

Last Sail -22 Ep 65

We sail to Arran island in Scotland and climb the highest mountain Goatfell.
2,866 feet might not sound much, but it was a good exercise and we could buy the T-shirt.

Scotlands most beautiful Canal Ep 63

We take a closer look at the famous Corryvreckan and have to start the engine, so we don't get sucked in and pushed out to the other side, instead of going to Crinan Canal which is our plan. There we get good exercise when doing the manual looks and run in between them, in great weather we might add.

Fighting the current in Scotland Ep 62

Part two of our canal adventure going through Scotland with our sail boat. The weather is still cooperating with us and a canal transit can't be better. We continue in the Caledonian Canal and end up in Fort William. Take the trip down Neptune's Staircase and wait for "Hogwarts Express" to pass before we can leave the last lock in the staircase. Then finally we are out in salt water again! All back to "normal".

Waiting for Hogwarts Express Ep 61

Scotland showed us how beautiful it can be when the weather is right! This time we were lucky going through the Scottish Highlands and the Caledonian Canal.
