We have splashed

  1. Lovely to see you on the quay with your shorts and t-shirt😊Here we are wondering where we stowed the mitts and hats from last winter😁All the same, enjoying the crisp, sunny , autumn days of Stockholm as you enjoy the tropical warmth of the Caribean🏝! Enjoy your second home in the months to come! We look forward to your updates😊

  2. Japp! Can’t wait for your next post. Kramisar!!

  3. Skönt att ni redan fått i båten. Kram☀️

  4. Hi Guys, Great that you are back in the water. We own a 2011 Allures 45 Timeless Odyssey (see Sailblogs for our Blog). I was just wondering whether you have had any issues with your auto pilot or Jefa steering. Rain water leaking through the binnacle and entering the reduction drive and the auto pilot motor. If so, it would be good to chat privately for some mutual learning. My wife’s Mom was born in Aruba so the ABC’s are somewhere we need to get to some time.

    • Hi, we looked at your blogg and see that you are in the Med 🙂 We are enjoying the C and have enjoyed the B in the ABC, late November we will arrive in A, Aruba. Happy to say that so far we have not experienced any problems with our Allures, crossing our fingers it will stay this way 🙂 Sorry we can’t be of any help. Jeanette & Fredrik

      • Hey Hey….as they say in Sweden. We once had an interesting mooring experience in a cross wind in Vaxholm harbour. We enjoyed the castle and the history. Enjoy as you make your way westwards. I just checked out your new Predictwind tracker. If the wind stays like it is today, it will be a fun downwind dash. I bumped into some other Allures 45 owners David and Lesley on the boat Leda at the Southampton boat show. They are still working but plan to make their way south soon. They also put us in touch with Neil Hird on L’Escale another Allure 45. They live on the boat permanently and have just returned from a season in the Baltic. Please send our regards to the other Allures 45 you have met.

        • Hej, hej! We sure hope the winds will be great once we set off in November. It is always nice to meet a sister boat, we will pass your regards. Where are you sailing now, the Med?
